“I own 35 acres in the rural area of Waikanae. The property lies between the Expressway and the former State Highway 1, it is rolling country and very sandy. Over recent years the rabbit population has exploded beyond the control of amateur marksmen, and Phil Mitchell was recently contracted to undertake a programme of extermination. I cannot speak highly enough of the job that Phil has done. He has come to the property regularly, and at this point he has shot and killed more than 500 rabbits over 4 nights of shooting. I have also appreciated the fact that he has kept me regularly advised of when he will be at the property, and he reports on the kill the following day. I highly recommend engaging Phil if you have a problem with rabbits or other feral pests.”
